Shadab Khan makes big claim after Pakistan's T20I series lo

Pakistan vs Afghanistan in the UAE: Stand-in captain Shadab Khan said he is hopeful that their star batters Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan will get the respect they deserve,

adding that their absence was felt during their defeat in the fist two matches in Sharjah.

Pakistan's stand-in captain Shadab Khan conceded that the team missed the experience of captain Babar Azam and wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan in their T20I series against Afghanistan in the UAE.

Afghanistan won their first-ever T20I series against Pakistan, sealing the series after going 2-0 up in the 3-match series on Sunday.

It was a shock result for Pakistan, who reached the final of the T20 World Cup in 2022 as Afghanistan won a T20I series against a top 6 side for the first time.

Led by Rashid Khan, Afghanistan have registered two dominant wins over Pakistan at the Sharjah Cricket Ground.

After restricting Pakistan to 92 in the first T20I and sealing a 6-wicket win, Afghanistan chased down 131 with 7 wickets to spare in the 2nd T20I on Sunday.
